Statement of Impartiality

Impartiality

We respect the clear line between audit/verification and consulting advice when it comes to EU Emission Trading Scheme.
Therefore impartiality is one of our core values and an essential criteria for the delivery of independent assurance.

That means in particular:

  • We as Verifiers are only allowed to audit the systems and processes as well as the reported data. At no time are we allowed create the reports and calculate the data ourselfs and perform the audit/verification thereafter.

  • We continously identify and control the risks associated with the delivery of our services and have mitigating controls in place for risk aversion

  • We continuously improve the quality of our operations, and management control systems, to meet client, regulator and stakeholder expectations.

  • We use a uniform and consistent and well documented approach, across all our audit personnel, to deliver consitent high quality services.

  • We are working in compliance with EA-6/03 the European Co-operation for Accreditation (EA) Certification Committee, which has issued Guidance for Recognition of Verifiers under the EU ETS Directive.

In order to provide pan-european service we cooperate with several partner verifying companies to provide the best possible service to aircraft operators in all EU member states.
